Well, it is Sunday evening again and this week has flown by. We were so busy in the mission office this week as we had 10 new Elders arrive on Wednesday, transfers on Thursday, and 12 went home on Friday! What a lot of paperwork and meetings there are to make all of this happen smoothly! One of the Elders that we work with in the Delaware Ward, Elder Anderson, went home and we got Elder Dahl from Alpine, Utah, to take his place. He is a great guy and the ward will love him. We still have our Samoan, Elder Afatasi! We had a discussion after church today about Spam--the kind you eat! He loves it as much as our dear friends the Stants love it! We went out to visit some families yesterday and had a nice visit with a non-member--on her front porch because her husband doesn't want any religion in the home. She was really nice tho. We left phone messages with a couple of people because they weren't home and one called back last night and we will be seeing her this week. We are finding that on Saturdays everyone goes someplace. We also discovered today after church that on Sunday a lot of people do other things too--like go to the lake that is right in the middle of where everyone lives! It is a beautiful and a huge lake and lots of boats on it right now. Don't know how cold the water is! Of course!!!

We had breakfast with President and Sister Gilliland Saturday morning and he tried to teach Earl how to make biscuits. They were delicious and we hope Earl can do as well when he is on his own! It was a great way to start the day--then we spent several hours out trying to visit people. It is beautiful and green here in Ohio now and we love it. We've never seen so many shades of green. Heavenly Father really did create a lot of beauty of all kinds in this world and we are so grateful to be able to see some of it. We are grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ that helps us to realize these creations came from our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and didn't just "evolve". We love our mission and we love our family at home for the support and love they give us. We miss all of you and miss your hugs and expressions of love but we feel them daily. And we know we are in the right place doing the right thing. We love being of service to these missionaries, to the mission president and to our Heavenly Father. We hope you enjoy seeing the pictures of this part of Ohio and of the transfers that took place here Thursday. What a blessing all of this is in our lives. We love you all!
