July 10, 2008 was a big day. We had transfers and got a new Elder assigned to our Delaware Ward, Elder Miller. And one of our Assistants, Elder Gardner, will go home to Afton, Wyoming, tomorrow. We have really grown to love him and will really miss him in the office. He is a spiritual giant and knows how to have fun and laugh too. We are making lifetime friends with some of these young elders. We got up at 5 AM to get out to Delaware to pick up our missionaries and bring them to transfers. Elder Afatasi was all packed up and has moved to another area and Elder Dahl is now training Elder Miller. We went out for lunch before taking them back to Delaware. Elder Dahl, front left and Elder Miller, front right. President and Sister Jensen handled their first Transfer today and it went very smooth. They will make a great presidency and the missionaries here have already learned to love them. And, we will miss President and Sister Gilliland. They have gone home and are enjoying their children and grandchildren and we look forward to seeing them in a year in Lakeside.
